  1. About Quick Draw Poker

  3. Quick Draw Poker is similar to the Jacks or Better video poker machines found in many casinos.  It uses a standard 52 card deck which is shuffled before each hand.  The object of Quick Draw Poker is to get one of the winning poker hands listed on the pay chart.

You start by placing a $1 to $5 wager.  After your wager is placed, press the Deal button to start a new game.  You will then be randomly dealt 5 cards.  Click on the cards that you want to keep and press the Draw button.  The ones that you chose to discard will then be replaced with new cards.  If your final hand is one of the winning combinations then you are paid according to the pay schedule.

  38. Bet $1 - This button will increase your bet by $1.

  40. Bet Max - This button will increase your bet to $5 and deal a new hand.

  42. Deal - Deals a new hand.

  44. Draw - Replaces your discards with new cards.
  45.  
  46. Hold - Click on the individual cards to hold or discard them.

  48. File menu:

  50. New - Starts a new game
  51.  
  52. Open - Restores a saved game.
  53.  
  54. Save & Save As - Saves the game to your hard drive.
  55.  
  56. Quit - Exits the game.

  58. Options Menu:

  60. Show Hint Card - Displays a hint card to assist you in deciding which cards to hold and which to discard.

  62. Show Game Stats - Displays statistics for the current game.

  64. Auto Hold -  If this option is selected then winning combinations will be automatically held after they are dealt.

  66. Sound - Turns the sound effects on or off.
